Deerfoot Shoe Repair & Tailoring

I have nothing but good things to about this shoe repair shop, been going here for over 20 years. Helen and Jake continue to amaze me with what they can do. I have taken some items for alterations that needed special work (golf shorts, etc) and their response is always "when do you want it" .

Hidden upsell and shoddy repair.

Same guys as Deerfoot mall. I left my shoes for repair and was told that it would be about $40 to patch it up They call me to let me know that it's good to go so I show up and then say that I owe them $70? Told them that I refuse to pay them an additional $30 for no reason whatsoever and they let it go for $40 after quite a rude exchange. Shoddy repair work, took it to another shoe repair place and got them to repair their poor work. Never coming back here again. Do not recommend!!

Perfection!

If you invest a lot into your wardrobe and are looking for a seamstress who is skilled, talented, kind, and above all a perfectionist then you should take your clothing here! I have been a client since 1996 and I will only trust Mrs. Lee with my clothing. Don't be scared off by the change room, it can be tight and it's near her work area so there can be a lot of clothing, threads, etc everywhere. It is just a reflection of how busy she is (she really is that good!) I have taken all of my high-end clothing to her and she has always done an excellent job. I have several alteration stores around my neighbourhood (in the south) but I will drive the extra distance to get my alterations done here. On a side note, Mr. Lee also does shoe repairs out of this store and he is equally great. If you are in need of a place that offers kind customer service, great workmanship and at a very reasonable price then I would definitely recommend this place.
