Lace Embrace Atelier is the ultimate in decadence, delivering well-curated vintage clothing, pinup style and of course, lingerie and custom corsets to die for. Each corner of the shop speaks to a bygone era of lace, ribbons, stockings and underthings that will make any woman feel as fantastic as the garments she clothes herself in.

After seeing Dolly Parton in film, owner and designer, Melanie Talkington was inspired to explore the history of corsetry and the obsession with achieving an enhanced female shape. She began travelling the world to build her antique corset collection, which is now the largest in the world. “Some people get souvenirs and sand when they travel. I get corsets,” she says. Her collection has made appearances at the Louvre and soon, at the New York Museum. Her goal to preserve these antiques led to Melanie’s desire to recreate them in her studio, using original, vintage patterns.
