Excellent food and friendly service.
I have dined here three times and was happy with the service and food each visit. The curries and roti are especially good. I like the decor and the atmosphere is great for a date or eating out with friends and family.
We were a party of three people - 2 adults and 1 child. We came in at around 6:15 pm. Liked the decor and the atmosphere. Tables ahead of us had their food before we did. Asked a waitress to kindly check our order again. Her retort: "What!?!?! You want your food faster? Is that it?" I was taken aback at her rudeness. I mentioned to her that the tables that came after us are already eating their dinners and we are still waiting for ours. She said she will check and came back saying that the food will be there shortly. 10 minutes passed by. Plonked down the spicy eggplant dish we ordered. Asked if the rest of our order will come soon. She said it will come out soon. Waited 10 more minutes. Couldn't stand it anymore and asked my husband to just pay what we consumed. Hubby went up to the front. Our waitress who was at the till asked: "Did you order beer or wine with your dinner?" Lost my temper at that point and said " You were the one who took our order. How can you not know? What dinner? Our dinner never came!" Hubby, to his credit was calm about the whole thing. Got out before I could say something else. Felt we were ignored bec. we had the only kid (well behaved 7 year old) in the restaurant. Can't vouch for the rest of the food we ordered bec. we didn't have any. No apologies for keeping us waiting for our food, no offers to resolve anything. We waited for 30 minutes for our appetizer to come to our table,a roti pancake, how long does it take to cook? Time when we got out of the restaurant was 7:35 pm. Very disappointed with the service. Will not go there again. If you want rude waitresses and poor service, come to this restaurant. You won't be disappointed!
