Tartan Towing

They towed me. These guys are a scam. They took my blazer and when I went to give them more than 3/4 of the monies owed, in the same week. They denied me and sold my truck at auction for way less than what it was worth. I sure one of them bought it to legitimise insurance transfer for it was sold for a few hundred when it had a new motor in it. They took it for tickets I never saw till then. Have your papers together tarter.Remember I had a witness with me when I came to pay 650 of the 800 owed.

Simply awful by every measurable criteria. Rude, unhelpful, belligerent staff. If they were in ANY other business they wouldn't be in business.

1. When I arrived to get my vehicle, I called 2 hrs in advance, staff made me wait at gate in the rain and cold while he processed my paperwork (I'm female) 2. When I went to pay, he tried to charge me $30 more than I was quoted on phone 3. Staff couldn't tell me where my vehicle was located, so I was made to walk (vehicles not permitted) the entire lot to find my vehicle parked in same place after I had requested it be moved away from hay bails as they attract mice. Awful experience!

My protection plan provider contacted tartan to get someone out to help. When the PP provider called me back they asked if tartan had arrived yet. They had not, so he looked into it. The PP provider found tartan says there was no contact. I'm on a quiet street with my 19month old there was no tow truck. The snow shows no vehicle traffic near my car. Tartan is unreliable and sleazy.

Awful service. Charged too much, were rude and did not come in timely fashion.

Arrived within 20 minutes, polite, courteous driver. Even took time to drive us home after towing our vehicle. Awesome company, great service. Will definitely call every time I need a tow.

Tartan towing has...

Tartan towing has the rudest employees I have ever encountered. They would not explain why my car was towed, insulted me the call (while being recorded on their system), and threatened they were 'keeping my car' and that I was 'wasting my time'. I do agree with the last statement, as trying to contact Tartan is a complete waste of time.

Although I was towed twice...TWICE, the guys there were very nice, friendly and humorous, I hope never to go back lol, but if I ever need my truck towed, I will call them again :)
