I have been to Karma's Cafe several times and always bring my friends with me. The food is totally amazing. One of the best cuisines in Peterborough. Very fresh, authentic and delicious. The serice on the weekend was kind of slow. The waiters worked their best, but the food took quite long to arrive. I will definiely come back again and again.
The Karma Platter is one of the best things I have ever had, we shared it but I would also order it as a meal. I had the Phai Thai and it was lovely. My husband had the Buttered Chicken and it was also very nice. You must understand that it is a Thai version and not the Indian. We were there at five p.m. and the service was great. Every table was reserved for six or seven p.m..So get there early.

I read an earlier review that it wasn't a place for kids, which is utterly wrong. My kids love Karma's, and the staff is great about making half-portions for them. At one time, the service was abysmally slow (over an hour) but they've really picked it up. The food is fantastic! I've been eating there since Karma took over from the India Food House, and the food is incredible.

Karma is is one of the more interesting caf?s in Peterborough. He was closed for brief period of time, while his restaurant was reconfigured by a national TV show. That's okay it didn't affect the FOOD.
If you don't like noodles don't come to Karma's, however if you're interested in Thai cuisine with a Liberal mix from the surrounding cultures, this is the place. However, be warned, you don't order soup for a starter, his soups are full-fledged meals. I've traveled extensively in Asia but must say that Karma's is excellent!!
