Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

I would like to thank all the fine staff at Santo's for a very successful and fun evening yesterday. Our particular thanks to Mario and Maria for the culinary skills. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. I have had comments such as "that is the best Chicken Marsala I have ever tasted", "the food was excellent and so fresh", "the decor was lovely", "fantastic desserts, especially the tiramisu". Everything was great and hopefully we have drummed up some new customers.

The best fish ever!

My parents live in Thornhill and Santo's is the place were they go all the time.I was wondering way they go so often, what is so special about this place? Now I know, not only you fill like being home but the food is very comforting too. I did not aspect to have such a nice meal, best fish ever.....

Cold feeling

I treated to this restaurant and felt bad for it. We found the service slow and unhappy. The server had begrudging service and was slow in response to the correction of mistakes. The food needed corrections and improvements and when I pointed out the issues we got what I construed as attitude and a lack of respect. We also would have found the portions as too small were it not for the fact that we didn't like the food anyway. We like restaurants where the food is good, the portion is adequate, the service has a smile and there are no 1-review reviewers praising the food and the service. Hmmm

Just DELICIOUS every time I go!

Every time I go is just DELICIOUS, I never had a bad meal at SANTO 'S. Some time I go with one meal in mind just thinking about my doctor advice :) but when I get there and end up choosing something different , like a tree course meal for example :) only $27.00.(main course RIB EYE STEAK with crispy onions served with beautiful vegetables, just melting in your mouth.) You can tell I really enjoy the food at Santo's :)) Today I order Grilled Callamari Salad and Atlantic Salmone as a main dish. The fish is always good, soft, juicy and never fishy. Dessert I will suggest the Tiramisu or Apple Pie& Ice Cream, they are my favorite. Service is always good, Rodica or Manuel are the best in my eyes :))))) Thank you Santo's for giving me Downtown Dinning Experience in Uptown neighborhood.

I just had a birthday dinner with my girlfriends the other day at Santos and it was really tasty and affordable! I had a 4 course meal for only $27.... ! I choose the bruschetta, soup ,steak with the fried onions and ice cream.. It was very delicious and and all my freinds loved it ! They have a really good atmosphere in there and it just feels so warm and inviting ! Service is great too.. I used to go to santos once in a while and i always love the food but now i'll be coming back more and I really enjoy the savings too! Definitely a good italian restaurant !

My husband and I have dinner at Santo's nearly every Friday. We have done so for several years and will continue. We also reserve for New Year's Eve most years. We've been to Italy and did not find a chef who could top Mario's cooking. Great food at a very reasonable price. All of our family members and many friends have joined us at Santo's and they have all raved about the food. Do not believe the negative reviews. They just had a bad night.

I've been going to Santo's for many years now, and the food has always been consistently great. They have great staff, a good atmosphere and great service.The price is right. The portions are big, and the food is delicious. To appreciate this restaurant you have to be a ''regular", the food is always hot , they use fresh ingredients and, in my opinion, Mario makes the best fish. In weekend is very busy don't go with out a reservation.

For years we go to Santo's just to have the roasted garlic and Veal Marsala. Some times we fill adventurist and we chose different dishes and so far we didn’t have bad experiences. On Friday I had people from Montreal over and I took them to Santo’s to impress them. And I was right .They all love’ it .The garlic was the winner, the fish special –Tilapia with lemon sauce was my aunt favorite, Veal Marsala is my husband favorite dish, Chicken Parmigiano and Pasta Alfredo are the dishes my kinds have… and I can go like that for every family member... But overall every one left with a smile on their faces and for me that was a success .Thank you Santo’s! PS: Thank you for the complimentary cake, my aunt was pleasantly surprise. We never experience such a generosity from any establishment.

After reading the negative reviews, I thought dinner is going to be average , but we had a gift certificate so we had to go eventually. I am glad we went. Service was wonderful and the food was amazing. Prices are affordable, everyone in my party was really impressed with the food and especially with the service. We went on a Sunday evening, I celebrate my wedding anniversary, we had a prefixed menu with choices for our main course: Chicken Marsala with mushrooms, Red Snapper and Veal Saltimbocca. The vegetables where amazing and the Tiramisu delicious. Great place,you should go.

The place can be noisy on Saturdays, but is understandable because the restaurant is full of people, some noisier then others. Me and my family we go to Santo’s often and every time we find it very pleasant, the food is always fresh and the waiters are always helpful to accommodate as with any changes to the meal, my self I am a diabetic and my husband is lactose intolerant. We recommend the restaurant to all our friends and family.

We were really disappointed with our visit to this restaurant sometime at the beginning of May. We ahd frequented the Thai place next door but never Santo's and finally made it. Unfortunately they had a very bland atmosphere i.e. none and bad service. They were careless, never did a quality or check or came back to see if we want anything else, etc. The food was MEH I wont come back and obviously didn't tip.

Our dining experience at Santos this evening was unpleasant almost from the getgo on account of a rude waiter, severely lacking in table manners. He repeatedly cleared dishes before we were finished, made errors on dinner orders, and continuously paced up and down the aisle beside our table, looking at his watch each time. The grand finale was when he kicked us out of the restaurant before we were finished our meals. 'Other customers are waiting for this table, so please leave' was the general message. A quick glance around the restaurant showed there were 8 empty tables. When this fact was brought to his attention, he persisted. The manager supported the waiter and stated that the patrons waiting for the table had reserved it and were unwilling to sit anywhere else. We asked the patrons if that was true and they said not at all. In fact, they expressed they didn't care where they sat. While we don't know exactly why the restaurant wanted us out, we can speculate it was because we had two babies with us. Kicking people out is rude and unprofessional, but doing so because of the babies is downright discriminatory. Rest assured, we will never dine at Santos again!

This veal dish with four cheeses is amazing; It is consistently good everytime we go there. I also like to vegetables. The service is ok, nothing to write home about. Weekends are busy at dinnertime, so call ahead.

We read the reviews here and went to the restaurant... the food is ok... But the service is really poor. We went there @ 8 something, but they were about to close. However, we need to wait for a while for food. The worst thing I faced was one of the waiters asked us for more tips..... I had NEVER face this situation in my entire life.....

Great food the best I have ever had in a restaurant! You must try it. This restaurant is jewellery hidden in thornhill if you are around the aria you must go. You will not be disappointed. Wonderful staff! Always friendly and I have to say it, they work really hard running up and down. I will go there again

My husband and I have been customers for many years and we always enjoy the food and the atmosphere that the friendly staff from Santo's Italian Cuisine created for us. All the dishes are delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff is very attentive and responsive all the time. We definitely recommend this cozy restaurant with its delicious dishes.
