“We are definitely low volume. We like to concentrate on making the grooming experience a positive one for pets and for their owners,” says groomer and owner at TheFur Factor Adrienne Lee. She does this by only having two dogs at a time at her grooming salon rather than the standard four or five you’ll find at many other groomers. The result, according to Adrienne, is that pets have a good association with being at TheFur Factor and are happy to return. “We work with them without having to rush,” she adds.
No job is too small at Adrienne’s place. You can drop by for what she calls stand-alone services such as a nail trim, an ear clean, tidying up around the eyes, brush-outs or a full cut. “A lot depends on what kind of dog or cat it is,” she notes. Speaking of cats, Adrienne decided a long time ago not to bathe felines, but she does keep their nails in good shape and their ears spotless while also offering full haircuts and spot shaving. As for dogs, she can handle all sizes from a Chihuahua to a St. Bernard.
