The fan on our furnace died so our air conditioning stopped. We phoned A1 Air Conditioning and Heating. They came out the next day and had it fixed in a few hours. Excellent service. I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

Furnace quit 2 days before Christmas, Rob and his team had a new furnace installed the day before Christmas and we had a warm house for Santa to visit. Rob and his team were very helpful and professional. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

As we customers know, paying the price of an Air Conditioner repair is always daunting and a challenge, especially when you have no idea what the cost is going to be before the HVAC Company arrives to your home, diagnoses the problem and outlines the cost and repair in a formal repair quote. This said, and take it from me, your experience with Preferred Air right from your initial call with Shannon (whom is most gracious and accommodating) will be an enjoyable one. Even during the onset of our first heat-wave they made to us many available times. Our technician Bob, who arrived exactly when he said he would- was a pleasure to deal with, he made certain to clearly outline our options; he was polite and nonintrusive and did a fabulous job with the repair and installation. Not only will you find Bob very thorough but what’s more, he is a very a nice person indeed! I would highly recommend Preferred Air – it is no wonder their name is Preferred Air - they are preferred and should be yours too - you will make the right and best choice going with Preferred Air.

We used the company when we were living in Brantford. He hooked up gas lines for two outdoor barbecues, plus a gas range.
We just moved to Hamilton. Gas line to outdoor barbecue, gas line to gas range, a sub panel for the circuit panel, correction of electrical hazards and finally installation of a range hood (required cutting a hole in the kitchen to the outdoors) were all performed . ONE contractor.
All work was meticulously and professionally performed with no shortcuts.

I had purchased the air conditioning unit from Richard and his team last May, however due to mechanical failure, the unit had started making loud noises. Gary is the hardest working, most honest gentleman I have ever dealt with. I can say this honestly as a former tradesman (8 years with local 675 drywall union).
