GREAT REAL CHINESE FOOD

I visited TB recently; I lived there for 9 years about 25 years ago. We used to go to the Cumberland years ago and it was a delight to find that it is still a family business and still great food. Can't beat their soups, spiced shrimp and they have dim sum! Thanks so much Cumberland.

Older family restaurant and I never sit down to eat but pick up my order. Same thing every time and no surprises. Fairly priced for Chinese food. I won't order from anywhere else. Dinner for two 24 bucks isn't bad! I'd recommend 100%

I have never set foot in this restaurant before but my spouse and I order from here all the time. The food is delivered super fast(&HOT) and it's very fresh. This is the only place we order from for chinese food.

The worst ever.

Disgusting little hole, the grossest place I think I have ever went to eat at. The waitress was rude and stunk of cigarette smoke. I ordered and she brought the plates which where gray in colour from people scaping their forks and knives on them. I refused to eat off them and cancelled my order and left. It really was disgusting.

Two thumbs down! Food was not fresh, meat was tough and tasted funny, and the chicken balls were over fried to the point where they were hard to bite into. Food is comparable to frozen supermarket chinese food.

It's been some time since i have been to the Cunberland, the food is good for Canadian Chinese food. I hear they do also cook some real chinese food but I have not sampled it yet so I can't review that. The lunch buffet is a good deal and a reasonable price and very good, the resteraunt is nice and any time I have been there the service was quick and I would definately go back. Out of all the resteraunts in Thunder Bya serving Chinese food it is better than most but still not standing out above another. Also close to the Casino and the harbour if you are looking for a close place to eat.

Always order from here...and will order again. The staff are courteous, and pleasant. I have never had a bad experience from here. I will continue to order from here always.

We ordered Dinner for 2 for delivery. Delivery was fine, but the chicken balls were SO overdone that the breading felt like it was just soaked in grease. The chow mein was very tasteless. Rice was fine. I have not ordered from here since.

This is the best Chinese in Thunder Bay. Their food tastes fresh, you have the best service, and has the old school authentic atmosphere. The food is unique and their dim sum is amazing. One of my favourite restaurants.

This is the best dim sum in town! Only available for lunch on weekends, it's always so tasty and a great alternative to burgers, soup and salad that Thunder Bay lunches are made of. Wonderful variety and a fun adventure. So yummy, I always look forward to it.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in town.. Their mixed greens are amazing! Could be a better vegetarian selection, but it's not bad. Their chicken balls and ribs are always fantastic, worth missing after giving up meat!
