Deborah Torr has what many would call the best job in the world. Stepping into her store is like walking through heaven’s gate. The intoxicating aroma of freshly made chocolate often stops customers in their tracks while the nostalgic sound of the oldies playing on her vinyl record player will take you back to a simpler time when chocolate couldn’t be found in every corner grocery store.

Deborah has always been a chocolate lover. “I was always the go-to person for dessert at a dinner party,” she says. As a fine artist and designer, Deborah decided to combine her passion for chocolate with her arts background and open COCO Crafted Organic Chocolates. “I wanted to do something that was creative. I can use chocolate as a sculptural medium. It’s fun to play with and I like making up new flavours,” says Deborah.
